Weenie Roast 2011

We all headed up to Arrow Rock Dam to have a weenie roast while Grandma Mary and Grandpa Andy were in town. It was so nice to get out in nature with the family.

Here are my kiddos roasting their very own, Ford and Izabel did a great job, Easton on the other hand burnt his to a crisp and dropped it a lot.

How many hot dogs and people can we fit around such a little fire? A lot and they all turned out good amazingly.

Thanks Uncle Brian for helping Easton at the second attempt.

Easton insisted on roasting his own marshmallow too.

Really concentrating and trying hard to make it work.

I think he has realized it is just not going to work out this time.

Here we all are looking at the Dam and where Grandma June grew up. It sure was green and beautiful up there and so nice to get outside with everyone and enjoy the spring air.

It was a great ole' weenie roast, kids running off exploring, hot dogs, marshmallows, catching up, singing a little, hearing old stories around the fire and just enjoying this fun time of year.

Easton's hair is so blonde! He is still a beautiful boy. Thanks for keeping up on the postings in Idaho. It is fun to see what the family is up to.
