Weenie Roast 2011

We all headed up to Arrow Rock Dam to have a weenie roast while Grandma Mary and Grandpa Andy were in town. It was so nice to get out in nature with the family.

Here are my kiddos roasting their very own, Ford and Izabel did a great job, Easton on the other hand burnt his to a crisp and dropped it a lot.

How many hot dogs and people can we fit around such a little fire? A lot and they all turned out good amazingly.

Thanks Uncle Brian for helping Easton at the second attempt.

Easton insisted on roasting his own marshmallow too.

Really concentrating and trying hard to make it work.

I think he has realized it is just not going to work out this time.

Here we all are looking at the Dam and where Grandma June grew up. It sure was green and beautiful up there and so nice to get outside with everyone and enjoy the spring air.

It was a great ole' weenie roast, kids running off exploring, hot dogs, marshmallows, catching up, singing a little, hearing old stories around the fire and just enjoying this fun time of year.

Trampoline FuN!

The kids love playing horses on the tramp. Here are some fun pics of them. Its funny cause I used to play the same thing on the tramp growing up. Uncle Russ was always the horse and Brian was the best rider. Ford and Izabel are pretty good too!

Love the Hair!

Love the Smile

Easton is 2!

We had so much fun for Easton's Birthday. Grandma June got him his very own wheel barrow and filled it with popcorn and a toy train.

Everyone helped find the parts to the train.

He put his tools in it right away, he is a little worker boy like his brother and daddy.

He loves it!

My independent 2 year old, he plays with this just about everyday. Moving things around the yard, my yard is never clean! But Easton is busy, so its worth it. We love our little Easton!

Yippeee 75 degrees!!!!!!

It was a beautiful day 75 degrees so our preschool group went on a field trip to Celebration Park where there are petroglyphs, art left by Indians a long time ago on these rocks. We had a great time and loved being out in the nice warm weather!

The kids loved climbing all the rocks the best. They climbed these rocks for a good solid 2 1/2 hours. I must say they are all really good rock climbers. Uncle Weston needs to take these kids out climbing!
There are so many rocks out here, the kids loved it! Who needs toys when there are so many rocks!
Here the kids are crossing the Snake River on their way to start a hike in the mountains.

Here Ford is using a Atlat, an ancient bow that tosses arrows.

Here is Izabel and Elly using the atlat.

The kids had so much fun exploring on their hike, Easton did a good job trying to keep up.

He fell behind though when they would go climbing rocks.

Here are all my kiddos, aren't they getting big! Love those warm spring days!

Happy Spring to All!

Izabel is 6 years old!

Izabel just turned 6 and how fast those 6 years have flown by. She is now going to kindergarten, she is reading, doing addition, she is spending the night at her cousins house. She helps take care of her little brothers and is always ready to help mom with dinner. Adam and I realize how fast 6 years has flown and the next 6 years will fly by too and she will be 12! A young lady and then 6 years after that she will be 18! Crazy how time really does go by, so I better enjoy it now and every stage that comes our way with our little girl, We Love you Izabel!

Here she is getting a treasure box from Grandma Zan with money in it, see the smile.
Here are the little girls sitting down to icecream cake.
Ford was so excited for Izabel, especially when she opened up his gift, which was a box of Captain Crunch and a can of Sprite. He was so excited, it is better to give than to recieve.

Thank you to all who came and gave such nice gifts to Izabel on her special day!

Thanks Grandma Mary and Grandpa Andy for the Ice Cream!

Here the kids are anxious picking out their ice cream, and tasting it too.

Here they are eating it and getting colorful tongues too.

Easton loved his very own ice cream, he had cone but insisted on using a spoon.

Elly is very focused on her Rockin Rainbow!
