Halloween Party!!!

Presenting the Happy Little Turtle, Easton!

I just love this little face!

Ford loves Transformers, here he is as Optimus Prime the good autobot!

Izabel as the cheerleader, she was so proud she received the coolest costume award.
So we went to the Halloween Party put on by the Pence's and the Kemp's. It was a blast, bobbing for apples, bing bag races and a costume contest in the end. So fun, thanks Mary and Kristie, love you guys!
Poor Adam was not able to go the party, so when he first got home from work and we got home from the party we took the Halloween family photo. Mom as a Princess, and Dad the construction worker mad he missed the party!
Grandma June as a Geisha and Grandpa Doug as a clown.
Good job dressing Up!

Aunt Kristie as the beautiful Tooth fairy and Uncle Ryan as the Tooth, thanks for the awesome pinata!

Andy bobbin for apples, I didn't get a good picture but most guys had to stick their whole heads in to get the apples out.

Izabel doing the bing bag race.

Thanks Pence Family for the hosting such a sweet party.
Here is a video of Ford bobbin for apples, he was so nervous to do it, but he did it!

Random Catch Up Photos!

Recent picture of the boys playing in the backyard. They are good friends when Ford isn't pestering Easton!

It was a bountiful harvest this year! I learned so much about canning and making jam, tons a fun and a lot of work. Everything so far tastes delicious.

We found out this year we have a plum tree, and that little stick of a tree produced a ton of plums! So I made a ton of plum jam! And the kids ate a lot of plums, the chickens did too!

I had 9 cucumber plants and so I also figured out how to make crisp dill pickles. Don't they look pretty.

I had zucchini coming out my eyeballs! I really loved the yellow zucchini.

I had a total of 12 tomatoes plants, I have figured out I love the Roma's for canning and salsa. Each new year is an experiment and learning experience, I love it the whole cycle of working the soil, planting the seed, watching it grow, pulling the weeds, watering, picking(kids love it too), harvest, canning/preserving, and then eating and then thinking of what to do next year. Love it!

My row of tomato plants and potatoes beside them.

Can you tell where I took this photo? The kids and I went to the lake with dad the other day and took the family heirloom, the big yella bus. It was fun and of course the kids thought is was fun.

Easton enjoying the ride too.

This is the bodacious corn I planted this year, it was really tasty and then I sold the corn stalks along side the road for decoration and I made an extra $75! It was fun, I love selling things from the roadside!

Can't wait to see all the Halloween festivities, Hope you all are having a great Harvest season!

Ford and his tools!!!!!

This is my BOY! Showing all the tools in his belt and pockets! This kid loves tools. It is funny to watch him walk! You can't tell in this photo but he is also wearing his snow boots, his choice of footwear lately.
Helping Dad pour a cement border for my garden, I don't know how those shorts are staying on with a rubber mallet, hatchet(see it next to the mallet?) and some sort of other tool.

So far Easton likes tools too! Here he is with his shovel, that if anyone gets close to it he screams. Must be scared Ford will take it from him.
Izabel pretty in the spring!

Easton trying to push the wheel barrow.

Ranch trip Spring 2010

Going on a high to look for bones and explore the old chicken house.
The ranch's cool old chicken house, still has nesting boxes.

Easton had fun at the ranch watching the cows and horses was his favorite thing to do.

Look cold? It was, but we had fun anyways!

Ford loves the ranch, now that we are home he loves to pretend to brand by holding down his stuffed animals while Izabel pretends to brand, hilarious one time they tried to brand Easton!

Here are all the kiddos watching the cattle in the corrals, it was so much fun playing all week!

Adam, Izabel and Ford on a horse going for a ride. Always a good time at the ranch, love that place! Can't wait til the 4th of July!

Easton is 1 year old!

This is the beginning....

He sucked his fingers in between bites, he wanted to savor it!

Now he is shoveling it in, loving it!

Our Happy Biggie! He is such a Joy! He takes about 5 t0 6 steps on his own, says daddy, ma ma, dog, doll and many other sounds that sound like he is singing. Love this cute little guy!
