Pumpkin Patch

Thanks Aunt Kristie for taking us to the pumpkin patch it sure was fun!

This is Ford realizing the wagon is heavy and can't pull it without mommy helping.

Ford dressed in his BSU gear, game day of course. He is loving pulling the wagon.

Best Buds! They take care of eachother so well and play together all the time, I love it! It was such a beautiful evening, notice the sunset.

Izabel found her pumpkin!

Ford found his too!

This is mom helping them find the right ones.

Izabel posing looking great next to the big pumpkin. She loves Halloween and is excited to go to Grandma Mary's to go trick or treating.

Pumpkin weight lifting.

Harvest Time!

Izabel is proud of the potatoes she planted!

Worms are Ford's new buddies. He will find one and hang on to it all afternoon. Can you see the one in his hand.

This is Ford licking his snot and holding on to his precious worm!

He loves WORMS!

This is a Big One!

Yea, for worms. Look how I can stretch it!

Here is Adam, Ford, Izabel and friend digging for Gold aka Potatoes. The kids loved it!

We got quite a bit for the little area we dug. Red ones, yukon golds and russets.

New Addition to the Family

Izabel holding little Kaisley, she loved holding her and knowing she came out of Summer's Belly.

Ford was so excited to hold her, he was very smitten with her from the beginning. The video shows him lovin on her and giving her a kiss.

Congratulations to Summer and Chris! You have a beautiful little girl! We love you all and miss you!

Note: That makes 5 grand kids for Grandma and Grandpa Blackhurst

Towards the end of Summer.....

Here we are up in Soda Springs taking a family photo. Adam has been spending a lot of time up there because of work. It was so nice to spend time with Grandma and Grandpa Harris, we love you guys!

I was playing with my camera and liked these old fashion pics of the kids. Here is a typical Ford pose sucking his finger.

I love this picture of Izabel , she looks so serious but pretty at the same time.

We went on a hike up in Soda and the kids loved it. As you can tell.

This place is so beautiful. Ford got tired in the end and loved the way home on daddy's shoulders. By the way Ford is talking so much more now and is repeating so much. He calls all of his uncles Da and his Dad "Daddy".

4th of July

I don't know what this is but it was on the ranch and I thought it looked neat.

Here is uncle Ryan shooting at Bear River.

Here is Aunt Mary looking tough like she is at boot camp.

Here are the three amigos getting a bath together after a long day of playing hard at the ranch.

Adam crashing on the beach at Bear Lake.

Ryan and Kristie at the small town parade. Preparing for the Volleyball tournament. The tournament that we WON!

Here is Ford loving the parade with a ball in one hand and a sucker in the other.

Elly and Izabel enjoying their first merry-go-round ride. They both loved it!

This was soooo cool, Soda Springs puts on the BEST 4th of July celebration. The fire department goes to the park in town and blows this foam in an area so people can play in it. It was so cool. Izabel and Elly tried it but got sprayed by the hoses so they got scared. Ford on the other hand loved it.

This is Weston and Lincoln slippin sliding down the hill at Uncle Wade's house. Both Lincoln and Weston put on quite the show.

The three amigos again getting ready for Bear Lake, they had so much fun seeing eachother morning, noon, and night.

This is Ford when we first got to Bear Lake.

This is Ford about 2 hours into the time at Bear Lake. He was the one who had the funnest. He ran around like crazy and kept on the going to a warm sess pool to play.

Elly and Izabel are good pals. We are so glad she came!

Izabel was a bell in her new red, white, and blue outfit.

Thanks to Grandpa and Grandma Harris for letting us stay in the Bunk Houses and use the Cookhouse. We had so much fun and are looking forward to next year where we will take the volleyball championship again!

Summer Time!

Here we are on a field trip with Aunt Mary and cousin Elly. After the zoo we went to feed the ducks. I screwed up on a big recipe of bread, I forgot the salt (bad thing to forget). So we had about 10 loaves of bread, we fed every living flying creature in the park. Here you can't see that we are completely surrounded by geese and baby geese. But instead we catch Ford eating the bread himself instead of feeding it to the birds.

We went to the Boise Zoo on our field trip it was so much fun, Ford loved the zebra the most because it looked like a horse. Whenever he sees a horse he always points and says neigh. On the drive to both Grandmas there are a lot of neighs along the way.

Izabel loved the snakes the best because she got to touch them. She went right up to them with no fear at all!

This is our new pool and nice new green grass. This pool really comes in handy I highly recommend these to other mothers.

This is Ford's swimwear for 2008 and of course sucking his finger and touching skin. He loves to touch skin!

Here is Izabel's swimwear for 2008, she's got sandals that match.

Here is Ford practicing his bubbles. Both Izabel and Ford love the water, we are so lucky we have two Grandma's that have pools and an Aunt Kristie who takes them to the public pool.

We Love the Ranch!

Ford is looking at the champion calf handlers! He someday wants to be just like them!

Ford got right there in the action watching the branding and watching daddy.

Ford got more comfortable with the horses towards the end of the trip.

Here is Izabel and Elli doing their job scaring the calfs into the coral. The fun didn't last too long because Izabel just about got ran over by a calf. She would have if Uncle Chad hadn't saved her.

Here is everyone checking up on Izabel to make sure she was okay. She was fine once she got back to work scaring the calfs.

We could not find Izabel, there she was in the big loader loving it! When Ford saw he had to get in too.

Dad took them for a ride in the loader, it was nice that Adam got to use this big machinery for the concrete job instead of his strong back.

Here is Izabel on the horse with Grandpa McGee, she was a little nervious if you can't tell from the expression on her face.

When Ford saw Izabel freaken out on the horse he freaked out too. Thank goodness Grandma Zan was there.

Here is the first day of branding. Grandpa McGee is still going strong doing that hard work!
